Children and youth are to be supervised during all children/youth ministries’ activities.

Two Ministry Safe trained adults must be present during children/youth ministries’ activities. Youth (under 18) may serve as supervisors or ministry leaders alongside a Ministry Safe trained and Background checked adult IF the youth is at least 4 years older than the oldest child being supervised.

All children and youth ministries must be conducted in open view.

Anyone serving in or supervising children/youth ministries’ activities or vulnerable adult ministries must be regular attendees for 6 months minimum prior to serving.

Background checks are required for all adults 18 years old or older every 3 years. A background check renewal may be requested more frequently in the case of a long period of absence (6 months or more).

Annual review of Ministry Safe policy is required for all adults who serve with children, youth, or vulnerable adults (special needs, elderly, etc.)

Online Ministry Safe training must be renewed every 2 years for all adults who serve with children, youth, or vulnerable adults.
